Questions we are asked most

Do I need an appointment?

No. Outpatient care is walk-in, day or night. Antenatal visits run on set clinic days, so call ahead for those.

How long will I wait?

Most patients are seen within half an hour. Urgent cases are always seen first, which can lengthen the queue for routine visits.

Can I be admitted here?

Yes, for short stays and observation. Cases that need surgery, intensive care or specialist input are stabilised here and referred to hospital.

Do you accept insurance or SHA?

We accept cash, M-Pesa, SHA, Turaco and M-Tiba. Bring your cover details, and call before your visit if you intend to claim.

Can someone collect medicine on my behalf?

Yes, if they bring your prescription and their own ID. Some medicines still require the patient to be seen.

Are you open at night and on Sundays?

Yes. The centre is staffed 24 hours a day, every day, including Sundays and public holidays. Walk in, or call ahead so we are ready for you.
